Established West LA CPA firm is in need of 

1. Accounting Manager with tax experience. This person should have 5+ years of experience and have the ability to review accounting workpapers and assist the accounting partner with any financial reporting requirements for clients.  Additionally, this person should have enough tax background to review lower to moderate level tax returns.  A working knowledge of Pro System FX Engagement software would be a plus.

2. Senior Tax Manager - high-level Tax Manager that can assist with   more sophisticated clients and transactions.  Seven plus years of experience would be needed. This person would review the higher-level tax returns, coordinate the engagement on these clients and would be responsible for tax research and related work.

3. Tax Staff -This person should have 2 - 4 years of experience and will be preparing returns.  Accounting experience is necessary as there will be some accounting preparation for tax return work.  The job would be approximately 70% tax and 30% accounting related.  Knowledge of Pro System FX Engagement Software would be a plus.

Description:
In-charge of audits - responsible for all stages of the audit - planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
Prepare financial statements with disclosures
Review of client SEC filings
Advise clients on various economic and legal risks in their given industry, applying GAAP and GAAS consistently, analyze generally accepted alternative accounting procedures, drafting potentially complex financial statements and disclosures, and documenting, validating, testing and assessing various control systems
Responsible for training and supervising Associates
Document, validate, develop tests and assess various control systems

Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting
CPA or CPA in progress
Prior supervisory experience
3 + years prior work experience
